Azusa Chareteau has an exploratory approach in questioning the use associated with objects, materials and their values.

Using replicated objects and materials taken out of their usual context, she creates sculptures, installations and video works.

She has lived and worked in Switzerland, Japan and England.

Since 2007 she has been based in Bristol.
